Drip Acquires Sleeknote

Thousands of e-commerce brands worldwide rely on Drip to help them build engaging and profitable relationships with their customers
Fremont, CA: Drip, a leading provider of e-commerce marketing automation solutions, announced the acquisition of Sleeknote, a cloud-based provider of forms and on-site engagement tools.
When customers visit a brand's website, Sleeknote captures customer data such as email addresses, SMS numbers, and consumer preferences. This information, known as zero-party data, informs and powers Drip's marketing automation platform's relevant, personalized marketing communications. The merger of these two companies and products will unify the customer experience across a brand's marketing channels, including its website, email, and SMS.
"Today's brands understand that acquiring and intelligently using zero-party customer data is the key to scalable, sustainable growth," said Drip CEO John Tedesco. "Customer acquisition costs through paid media channels are skyrocketing, forcing brands to optimise every site visit. And, as Apple and Google tighten their privacy policies, brands are being forced to quickly understand who their customers are and use that knowledge to build brand affinity."
"Thousands of customers around the world have used Sleeknote's high performing forms and onsite conversion tools for upsells, cross-sells, and promotions, capturing data on over 7 billion visitors in the last year alone," Tedesco continued. "By integrating their tools directly into the Drip platform, brands will be able to own their customer data and personalise the customer experience across channels," says the company.
"Marketers must be equipped with the tools and strategies to deliver digital experiences that reflect well on the brand and that consumers have come to expect," said Sleeknote CEO Mogens Moller. "Drip's powerful segmentation engine and user-friendly workflow builder have already assisted brands in generating over $2 billion in sales. Drip, when combined with the Sleeknote platform, will provide a powerful, turnkey offering that will enable every marketer to improve their execution."
Sleeknote's operations in Denmark will become the base for Drip's European operations, which will continue to expand. The combined entity will employ 150 people who will serve over 10,000 brands in over 100 countries.
